Maximum stability for demanding industries

The new KUBO is made of high-quality and impact-resistant polyethylene (HDPE), meeting high standards for stability and efficiency. Five steel profiles in the bottom and four interchangeable corner posts ensure maximum robustness and a long lifespan, even under heavy use. The box is specifically designed for transporting and storing heavy parts and goods from industries such as automotive and technical sectors. Despite its extreme stability, the KUBO weighs only 51 kg.

The KUBOs can be easily moved with a forklift. The reinforcement ribs on the sides provide protection against the forks of a forklift, reducing the risk of damage. With a static load capacity of 3000 kg and a maximum loading capacity of up to 1000 kg, it’s possible to stack three full boxes on top of each other. Moreover, these practical boxes operate smoothly on all common transport and automated systems without any issues.

KUBO and Gitterbox – similarities and differences

The KUBO shares the same dimensions as the Gitterbox, measuring 1240 x 835 x 970 mm, making them compatible and stackable. This compatibility allows seamless integration of the KUBO into an existing system and use alongside Gitterboxes. Consequently, transitioning to plastic boxes becomes feasible, enabling a straightforward switch, especially when the Gitterboxes are worn out. Both the Gitterboxes and the KUBOs feature a flap at the front, making loading and unloading easier, even when stacked.

An advantage of the KUBO is its flat, smooth interior walls, providing optimal protection for the cargo while being easy to clean. With a temperature resistance ranging from -30°C to +40°C (up to +90°C for a short period) and resistance to most chemicals and cleaning agents, the box can be hygienically cleaned. The KUBO does not rust, allowing for trouble-free use over a longer period. Additionally, the plastic box is significantly lighter than a Gitterbox. This weight reduction also results in lower transportation costs.

Perfectly tailored to your application

The KUBO is available in various configurations, allowing it to be perfectly tailored to your application. The box is available with or without a front flap. Additionally, it’s possible to add an RFID transponder for optimal tracking. Another practical option is adding drainage holes to facilitate the cleaning process.
